This anti-harassment/bully-prevention seminar for educators, future educators, and others who work with youth will inform attendees about issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) students and their peers. In this practical training, we'll explore how Utah law enables us and limits us when it comes to creating safe classrooms and schools for our students. We will discuss everything from student and parent experiences to cultural attitudes towards bullying and from educational disparities affecting LGBTQ students to useful bullying intervention strategies.
